Am pleased! Bought the 25l one in Ocean Blue - I wanted a purple one but DH wasn't having it....

So, will be exciting when it arrives. Our crap existing, decades-old coolbox (which doesn't actually cool anymore) was barely used last year in France, as it was so inefficient. So this year, we can have COOL food and drinks. How exciting! No daily trips to the shops for everything - yay!!

Thank ye mumsnet Smile

Am thinking of getting one of these for DH to taking on his camping trips. Are Icey Tek and Yeti the same make? Also, would a 25l one be about the right size for a bloke for a long weekend? (spot the woman who doesnt know a thing about camping)

Thank you Smile

re Yeti and Icey tek, I have been assuming that they are differnt conpany's take on the same sort of advanced cooler box. The Yeti being a different shape and having the advantage of a handle, the Icey Yek being better as a seat and to some, more stylish.
I think 25l would allow a generous number of cool beers, and food for one, yes! Somewhere on the site it shows you the exact items that fit in the 25l box.

Follyfoot, on CoolboxUK's home page, click on 'Help choosing your coolbox size' in the menu on the Top Left of the page - it shows what can be packed in a 25l. It's a good lot of stuff, 2 big packs of burgers, 2 big packs of sausages, bacon 2 lots of cheese, bunch of bananas, punnet of strawbs, juice, 2 beers, bag of salad, some other things I can't identify...

Thank you both, that really helpful. Will probably be mainly for beer, bacon, beer sausages, milk, beer so that size should be fine.
