Portsoy Boat festival

Just to say if you are looking for a lovely weekend in June there is a site available near all the action for approx £8 per night. The site is right on the beach and there are toilets and showers but no electric. Portsoy is on the NE of Scotland but there is so much to do and see that it is well worth a visit.

We got booked at Findochty! Really looking forward to the boat festival and a proper change of scene. Looks like there are loads of interesting things to see and do during the festival, now all we need is gorgeous Scottish sunshine

The last two years have been lovely. The Findochty site is lovely by the way.

Thanks Deste we are looking forward to it very much, I did a bit of research on the Internet before booking, Findochty had good reviews and is close enough to Portsoy without being right there, will be nice to return to relative peace after the buzz of the festival.

I see tickets for the festival are now on sale online, do you know if it's better to buy them now rather than wait until we get there? Cheers.

We have always bought them at the gate. I don't think I would bother really if it was pouring with rain. If you buy them in advance then you are stuck with them.
