Dual burner camping stove easiest gas to use?

Hello,
i thought I'd got a great bargain Outdoor essentials dual burner camping stove (£20 in B&M)but being a novice I don't know which gas to use with it. It says G30 propane or G31butane. Where would i get a cylinder? Are cylinders not v heavy or is there an alternative.
Any ideas?

Gas cylinders are really widely available - look in Millets, other camping shops, garden centres and hardware stores or order from Amazon. You can use either the propane or the butane, it doesn't make a difference.

I know the campingaz website has a list of stockists and what size cylinders they stock. Go outdoors do quite a range but there are dozens of different cylinders so worth phoning to check. It's worth knowing your local place and also check one near where you are camping.

Suggest you get two cylinders (we have one large, one small) so you have a spare with you, nothing worse than the gas running out halfway through supper on a Sunday evening. Yes they are quite heavy, don't forget to pack them but should last you most of a week. It costs a fair bit to buy your first cylinder - about £40, but then you just swap it at the supplier and pay for the gas, about £15 a fill IIRC.

I saw those in B & M but the only one they had left was damaged so I had to leave empty handed.

Do you need to get the hose and regulator aswell?

Thanks mogs there is neither a hose nor a regulator so I assume i will have to get one. All a bit complicated. we camped in the garden last night and it was freezing so I put the duvet on top. This weekend we hit the campsite yeeha!
