Brittany - Pointe St Gilles or Domaine de Keravel?

Has anyone any views on Pointe St Gilles or Domaine de Keravel campsites? The first looks great with all bells on, but I wonder is it more than we need with a 5, 3 and 1 year old. The second looks much quieter but limited facilities for children. Can anyone advise? This is our first holiday with three and we are bracing ourselves for chaos.
We are bringing our own 10 man walk-around-in- with-carpet tent. I know. We will be divorced before we even get it standing but it's the husband's dream and he is so excited. But at least I will not be pregnant or breastfeeding so I will be on the wine. aAnd I'm insisting on bringing a flushing (portable) toilet.Any advice gratefully received.

I cant comment yet but we have booked Pointe St Gilles in July so am watching with interest

we have a mobile home with keycamp though

the pool looks fab and we are looking forward to the beach, with our (then) 10m old baby

We went to Pointe St Gilles last year with our 7, 4 and 18 month old. It was really lovely with plenty going on but not really horribly busy iyswim ? The pool was great, as was the children's play area. The beach right by the site isn't that good but its a lovely 20 minute walk along the promenade into the town (Benodet I think it was ?) where the beach was great and there were plenty of good places to eat and drink.

I can't comment yet either, but have booked Pont St Gilles for the end of July with Euro Camp. We have a 2 and a 6 yo and am hoping all will go well. This is our first holiday as a family too and am a bit apprehensive, esp as the 2yo is currently a nutter!

oops Pointe

Funny - our 2 year old is also a nutter. We did have to fish him out of other people's tents occasionally after he'd run off, but apart from that, he was fine Grin

Thanks Tilly I can totally imagine that. He was wandering around in the garden this morning without my knowledge when he should have been watching Fireman Sam!
