About to book a v basic puccini mobile home in Sant'Angelo near venice, it's all we can afford as flippin flights pricey. Have never done this sort of holiday before - are Thomson al Fresco ok, and shall I expect a very very cramped caravan?!

They are very expensive compared to say Siblu and cheap & cheerful Matthews, but they are quality. We have booked a 3 bed Vivaldi Luxe this year, and have stayed in one before in Spain, but only because they are the only company on the sites we want.

We once stayed in the smallest Matthews Van - I didn't know they came so small! The bed was a cut off corner so you could get past it into the room! Still, we spent most of the time outside, and had an affordable sunny holiday. If the site is good that is the main thing.

yes, we got an absolute bargain in the May / June half term the summer before last - £200 for the week. Mobile home was totally comfy. Bedrooms were tiny but we didn't need them for more than sleeping.

sorry, stayed in south of France. Can look up the name... but would safely recommend Thompson AC which is what you were asking :)
