Deer Shed festival?

We went to Camp Bestival last year, very successful, happy us, happy children, very expensive overall & to do same this year is even more ££££.

So, am wondering about the other end of the spectrum & discovered this Deer Shed has anyone ever been? I found one post from 2 years ago on search so wondered if anyone local knew anything?

Would be a bit of a trek from London but it's a lovely part of the country & it's school hols & jolly cheap so...

Any advice? experience? warnings? Thanks

Not much help but am fairly local (harrogate) and hv heard good things about it - kind of thought about it last year but went here instead also highly resommended - going again this year.....

Been to glastonbury once, pre DS (when was 10wks pg in fact) and don't think I could cope with anything on that sort of scale with ds as I found it pretty overwhelming with just me and DH as it was!

I LOVED the vibe of a smaller festival, no stress about getting between stages , kids stuff was super and I still managed to get my own "care-free rock'n'roll moment" on the sat/sun night when DS was asleep in the. Back carrier while charletons were on!!!

Someone earlier this year mentioned deershed, said they'd been last year and there were a lot of lager pouts with beer bellies out. They weren't impressed.

Have you thought about wychwood, not sure if it would be cheaper than bestival but I went two years ago and it was nice.
