Iceytek a 25 or 40l would do the trick.

We are trying to get a MN discount-who would get one if they were reduced?

Count me in, I want a 25l soooo badly.

Lovecat · 17/02/2012 20:21

Me, me, me!

40L in pink, purple or green for pref but tbh any colour would do...:)

humpdebump · 17/02/2012 20:55

oh yes, one here too! Was looking at them just last night and I discovered they are cheaper if you buy a white one from a fishing tackle type website (with the view of storing freshly caught mackerel rather than yoplait). So if you don't mind white & looking like a fisherman it might save a few bob buying not direct from website....
OOoooo competition might be good?? HINT

Blu · 17/02/2012 21:22

hump - where did you find that?

I couldn't find any other UK suppliers at all.
And i favour matt white anyway.

badger21 · 17/02/2012 22:17

I love my husband - he got me a Yeti 33l for my birthday last week. He really wanted to get a box with a power cord, but pandered to my whims this time ... (now how to persuade him we need a bell tent to put it in?)

It has to be said it is slightly disappointingly white, not purple or red or blue, and it is the size of a small bus so we may need to leave one of the small children at home to get it in the car, but it looks fab and you can sit on it without it feeling like it is going to collapse. I can't wait to go somewhere hot now to see how well it keeps the wine.

SalAbility · 17/02/2012 22:35

Potentially 25 or 40 litre here, but will make final decision after playing lego "measuring" with a box in the car. If fits, I'm sold on the 40l as you can have your wine milk standing up in those.

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 17/02/2012 22:38

i would like to point out that i put it in swears by...

also, slub where were ya? i was looking for a campsite in the Lake Dist and only a few heroic types were prepared to help me.

Brambleschooks · 17/02/2012 22:53

25 or 40 here too, depending on how much space in the car. But what colour? Need discount to buy it though, even though it is lovely.

jamaisjedors · 18/02/2012 10:21

I have a 25l one, bought last year (in Green - pretty much all that was left). The only thing about it (as someone warned me) is that you can't put a bottle of water standing upright in it.

Which was somewhat annoying at the campsite we were at which didn't sell ice but sold frozen 1.5l bottles of water.

They fitted diagonally across the top but then took up most of the space.

Otherwise we were delighted with it, even DH said it was "perfect" - I don't think I have heard him say that about many things.

We used it for 10 days for 3 adults 3 children, but we didn't take a lot of stuff with us and shopping every day or every other day.

SalAbility · 18/02/2012 13:09

In case anyone hasn't seen my comment on the other thread, I e-mailed MNHQ on Thursday, and Olivia confirmed that they are still working on this, and hope to get back to us by the end of next week (after half term). Fingers crossed, thanks MNHQ. And Icey Tek people

happyhorse · 18/02/2012 13:34

I'd be interested in a 25l - although would probably need to sell a kidney to raise the cash.

SparkyUK · 18/02/2012 17:16

I think this must be where hump was looking Nicks Marine Supplies

Blu · 18/02/2012 18:43

Hmm - so is that price excl VAT? No mention of delivery costs.

The one in that picture has the Icey Tek logo in blue, whereas I thought it was black/ grey / silver from looking at the Coolboxes site . It looks better in grey/silver.

And - eeek - they ran out of stock?

SalAbility · 18/02/2012 18:59

Ah, didn't even spot the different colour. I like the grey/silver too. I'm also a bit confused as to where they are actually based / registered. I thought E-commerce rules stated that you had to have your business address and actual e-mail details (vs just online "contact us" form) stated clearly on any business website. Not saying this is dodgy at all (!), but I'm concerned that, if not UK based, additional taxes (import etc?) would apply - apart from the online trading rules, which I might have wrong.

SalAbility · 18/02/2012 19:02

Btw, not meaning to be negative at all, and I have completed a "contact us" form asking for the above information anyway. In case anyone interested, I can update here when I hear back.

Oooo, yes please! I was going to spend my birthday money on a red 40l one and was going to order it tomorrow but think I'll sit tight, just in case. Grin

Mummyisamonster · 19/02/2012 23:26

ReshapeWhileDamp · 21/02/2012 21:37

I'm in! (belatedly) I We would love one. DH has yet to see the lovely things in person but I have Wink and now I'm just wondering if we can get a 40l in the car. But failing that, a 25l.

FYP · 22/02/2012 15:15

I could be persuaded too Grin probably a 25l. I had an Igloo last year which was brilliant but took up most of the boot space Angry

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 05/03/2012 12:22

I'd love two one!

A big one for longer trips and a small one for the odd night or picnics!
