Eurocamp in the Vendee in May - what bedding to take?

We are doing our first family camping trip to the Vendee in mid-May, staying in a Eurocamp tent.

I don't think we can rely on their two blankets each to keep us warm at night. But not sure what else to take.

The average night-time temperature is 9 degrees, so can any of you more experienced campers say what sort of night clothes/bedding we would need at that temperature? It sounds quite chilly to me.

Sleeping bags seem a bit risky for our small DCs, given that wet beds are a possibility. But perhaps it's the only way to keep them properly warm? Or would they be OK with vests/warm PJs/socks/duvets?

How about taking a small fan heater with you ? and the necessary plug adapters .

I think you are right to think about this. We were chilly with our two blankets in the Vendee in August this year. I was able to get more blankets from our rep though (keycamp).

I would take some warm PJs for the kids and if you've got room an extra fleecy blanket each for you all - and/or check if Eurocamp can give you more. I would think that they could manage it at the beginning of the season. They won't be at capacity.
