Have you stayed at a great site in Cornwall?

Looking for a site in June next year, have you stayed anywhere nice?
Two DDs aged 5 and2 so a play area would be good.
Dont mind driving to get to a particularly gorg beach.
Must have lovely toilets.

Carlyon Bay At Austell

Small but well equipped - great washing / toilets .

Family run - very friendly .

Big Tesco nearby aswell.

If you are going in term time, Mother Iveys Bay nr Padstow is lovely. Gets very busy in school hols though. Has its own stunning beach. We love it

Monkey tree near Newquay. Clean, friendly and great facilities for kids.

Noongallas near Penzance.

It's on a steep slope but is terraced. It has the most amazing woods at the bottom and the owners are the best I've come across.

Really recommend and can't wait to go back next year

Actually, scratch that, it's a terrible place, really awful, you'd a hate it.

(dh just reminded me we'd agreed not to recommend this place as it'll get too booked up so we won't get to go when we want to!!!!)

A second vote for Carlyon Bay. We stayed there (boys of 7, 11 & 13) in August this year & was fab.

River Dart Country Park, its Devon but only just. It is fab although your Dc's may be a bit little to get the most out of it.
