Camping in the colder months ...

We are described as 'hard core' campers by our friends! However, to make the evening longer when the evenings are colder and darker and all that you can do to keep warm is to get in your sleeping bag or under your quilts, this year we invested in a Halogen heater for inside the tent. A tip we had from a caravanner. It is fab and well worth the £16.00 (new we paid for it).

I don't think you will need one this weekend but if you are camping in the autumn, winter, or early spring one of these heaters is worth considering.

Oh - if any of you are thinking about canoeing next year after seeing how much fun it is, I can may be give you a few tips - we have gone canoeing with our son since he was 10 months old and he is now 7!

Have a great weekend.
