2-week tour of Scotland being planned for next Summer .. need some help please!

We will be travelling in our campervan from Norfolk up to Scotland and will have 2 weeks there to move around. What are the "must-see" things? I would like to visit Skye and Loch Ness and one or two great beaches, but what else shouldn't we miss? I have been to Glasgow before and done lots of the art galleries etc so not too fussed about that. It will be me, DH and DS (9). Thanks in advance.

The Northumbria coast line and lindisfarne island on your way up the A1-it passes close by. Bamburgh castle is stunning. Then Edinburgh, up through the highlands, we loved Skye, glencoe and mallaig, then heading back home do the fast route down the west coast, stay in the lakes or the dales on your way back home via m62...

...not that it was one of my favourite trips or anything !

You're spoilt for choice on beach campsites; to name just two there's Achmelvich which is low key and fab; Big sands in Gairloch is a bit more extensive, but also right on the beach & a bit more accessible, especially if coming over from Skye

back over to the east coast there's some campsites on the Black Isle from where you might even be able to see dolphins from your tent

Thanks for your replies - will check out all of these places. Achmelvich looks lovely. Definitely want to visit Northumberland at some stage so may do that as a separate trip!
