Can anyone recommend really warm children's pyjamas?

Can anyone recommend some really warm pyjamas for a 4-year old? When I google I just get sites selling thin Disney stuff or white cotton nightdresses. I need something which will allow her to get up in the morning without whining, now that autumn is fast approaching. I thought that camping people might have some good ideas!

Lands End do lovely, snuggly pyjamas.

UnSerpent if I've got this right you're looking for warm PJs for in the house, non? DD had some great fleece ones from Gap. The top was so warm she usually took it off!

Laywellian - think op is looking for pjs to wear camping.

bruffin · 03/09/2011 00:21

no sorry got that wrong!

I am looking for pjs for the house, but it is a very cold, draughty house, and the Disney princess pyjamas most of her friends have would not do! Lots of good ideas here, esp the 'base layer' (although Lands End etc no doubt prettier).

Lands End have a sale on brushed cotton PJs for children. Primark PJs also good, plus they do cheap thermal vests to go underneath.

Ds4 has always refused to wear fleece sleepsuits. I think he finds it restrictive to have his feet covered. Very annoying in the middle of winter.

If we try to add socks with ds's pj/base layer combo he always takes them off - in a ritual kind of fashion! There's definitely something about having feet 'free' going on Grin

Ethel Austin always have loads of brushed cotton/flannelette PJs in this time of year, but usually only up to about age 10 or 11

otherwise I'd go with the Primark fleecey sleepsuits....as I said yesterday I got one for my ds1 (aged19) and dd and I have still got last years. :D

and am sure they do them for teenys too.

Another vote for Land's End - DS has two pairs of fleece pjs (separates, not all in ones) from them - warm enough for camping in UK in early spring.

My lo is 3 and he goes to bed in socks a thermal top, fleece pyjammers and a woolly hat. Primark sell thermal tops and have a great selection of fleece pyjammers.
