what to do with Grumpy, camping adverse DH ?

help, myself, DD,DS and Not so DH are going on our first family festival trip next week to the Just So Festival! we three are overly excited but DH .... not somuch! advice is needed on how to enthuse and entertain his lordship!!

Make sure you've got enough warm and dry clothes with you. If he's not too keen already, being cold and miserable will kill any chances of it growing on him!

Take wine (though Festival, so not sure you're allowed - perhaps a box wine) and a pack of cards and you'll be fine. Good luck. Just So looks brilliant, I really wanted to go.

He'll have to enjoy it when he's there - festival goers just don't tolerate grumpiness. He will hopefully just go with the atmosphere.

Leave him at home.

mis sal... large amounts of wine is my normal relationship softener!!! and SFS i really hoping that if he goes sonebody else will tell hom to "wind his neck in" as they say in belfast!!! Also, thank you knickers, that has been my main thought path for the last three weeks! but he seems to have become enthused, albeit breifly so I am going to not, not hold my breath and see how he gets on during the rest of the week and then rejudge situation before we get on the ferry over!
