Sad! was going camping tomorrow but the site wants to charge...

£18 a night for a pup tent for 2 teenagers with no electric.

We are really disapointed, you can't book the site but rang to ask some questions and was told that every tent is £18 per night in the summer hols regardless of size.

I do have a large family tent which we could have all fitted into but it takes ages to pitch and we were only doing 2 or 3 nights.

I have booked another site 5 miles from this one for the end of the holiday and that is £17 for the same number of people in 2 tents.

I don't get it.

I'd take the big family tent. That charge is totally ridiculous. Then don't go there again!!

We have decided not to go, the Dd's and friend are disappointed but I couldn't pay 2 lots of site fees and I really need to practice putting up the big tent without DP.

Am going down to cornwall for main family holiday soon so will have a go then.

Wanted to post to warn others with teens to check pup tent prices.

I don't think I will go to the site even though it looks good for the older kids.
