Really really really really excited about our first camping trip next weekend!!

A lovley MNer recommended Upwood Farm on here and we are off on Friday for just two nights but am so looking forward to it! Hope the weather is nice though.

Anyone any advice on first trip?

I'd say not to have too many expectations and see how it goes. First we went camping with the DCs I had a mental image of relaxing all evening with the kids sound asleep in bed and was a bit disappointed when that didn't happen. Actually, they stay up pretty late with us and only go to bed a short time before we do but we still get to relax as they're pretty good and quiet so now I just enjoy the rather sweet time with them in the evenings.

Love camping though, hope you have a fab time!

Make sure you are not cold at night, No sleep can spoil a trip. Take hot water bottles.

Don't stress about dirt or routines just go with the flow.

Most of all have fun.
