We are looking for somewhere very near a beach if possible. Does anyone know of anywhere?

Look at Anglsey.....very beautiful and lovely beaches...like Red Wharf Bay. Lots of camping there.

Tudweiliog, right by some gorgeous beaches with rock pools etc

Have been looking at this one Moelfre

Will be next year before we go now though!

We did go to Blackthorn farm in Anglesey last weekend, it is a 1/2mile walk to the beach (quiet, great for rockpooling) although you are surrounded by seaviews, was a good site. Great for children, lots of space to run around.

Try nantcol-in snowdonia. I've not been but just seen sime amazing photos from it...

Nantcol waterfalls site is fab.

Hide Fawr near Tudweiliog

Home Farm on Anglesey.

Nantcol is about 10/15 mins from Shell Island but tbh there is so much shallow water there (perfect for paddling in and making dams) you wouldn't really be desperate to go to the beach.

Hidre Fawr that should be. Bloody Autocorrect. It's WELSH you bastard not spelt wrong.
