New to camping ... please help me to find a campsite

Hi. Am now proud owner of a tent and need to find a campsite.
Having looked at the 5 day forecast the best weather appears to be coming to Dorset area.
This is a 3 hour drive from where we live so need your help with this area. Ideally I'd like to be within walking distance of the beach.
I've looked at the history of this topic and can't see much about Charnmouth ... anyone? Please? TIA?

Have you looked at the ukcampsite website?
It is too long since I camped in that area - 20 years...

Hi there! We have just returned from a stunning area just on the outskirts of Swanage, Dorset. The site is called Ullwell and its £30 a night. It has lovely toilet/shower facilities and an indoor pool. shop etc. Swanage is a stones throw away with lovely sandy beach and restaurants. We also love Hollands Wood campsite near Brockenhurst in the New Forest. Its very natural with ponies wandering around. Good luck
