Help me work out how to put up my trailer tent please!

I have just got a trailer tent (which to be honest is in a bit of shit state, but never mind) and we took it out last weekend - to put it up the canvas was already off the frame poles, but on the manual pics (got on dvd, left at home so no use at the campsite!) it shows the canvas already over the poles before the tent is set up, so you just have to pull down the sides.

Is that right? Does it just fold up with the canvas mostly in place and tied on to the poles?

Thanks to anyone who knows. it's a Conway Spirit. If anyone also knows where to get replacement awning poles that would be great as some of the poles are completely fubared. Thank you!

I have a folding camper, not a trailer tent, but I think TTs get folded up (like FCs) with the canvas still on the poles.

You need to get over to ukcampsite.co.uk which has a specialist section for TTs and FCs. There's bound to be someone over there who knows exactly what TT you have and what you have to do to "erect!" it.
