I think I'd like a bell tent...

I've been flirting with the idea of buying a bell tent for a while now but ended up getting a completely different tent at the end of last year. I've used the new tent twice now and have decided I'd really like a bell tent!

There is a 3m one on ebay at the moment but I'm not sure what sort of price I can expect to pay.

For most camping trips, it's just ds and I but sometimes my sister comes and sometimes ds might like to bring a friend - would 3m be suitable?

Also, if there were 3 of us sleeping inside, would there still be room for our stuff?

I feel an impulse purchase coming on!!

Slices cheese with calves.

24 hours since I cleared an infestation of baby wild rabbits from my sitting room.

1/2 hour since I admired the rugged ground hugging design on the base of ds2's sandals.

T-1/2 hour until I deflate dh's giant canoe with him.

I've got a 3m bell tent. Fine for me and ds (7) and our stuff and probably one other child. Not big enough imo for 2 adults and one child. I got mine from here last year. It may be worth contacting them to see whether they are getting any more stock. I paid £99.99 for mine and it is lovely - has thick guy ropes with wooden runners.

I've got the 5m, friend have the 4m. Its not only smaller in the footprint but also the height that might factor in your decision.

We keep ours under the bed. We have the ZIG and when its all in the one bag I can't lift it! i got another bag so the tent is separate from the groundheet and the poles are in their own bag anyway.
