How much do you pay per night for camping? Can anyone help me find a site that isn't £££

Bloody hell.

Been looking to book a basic site for 22/23 July.

They are so expensive considering I only want a field, shower and playground

can anyone reccomend me one that won't require a remortgage?

An hour or so from Manchester would be great, 2adults, 2children and 1 toddler.

We always book through the caravan club, but you do have to join and pay the annual fee. We find this a lot cheaper and they do tent pitches but can be funny about the size of the tents. The web will give you prices and availability before you join (iirc)

We are very new to camping but I am finding too that booking weekends is nigh on impossible during the summer holidays, they only want weekly bookings.

We are going to a site this weekend close to home because we couldn't get a weekend during the holidays.
