What camping table?

We currently have one of those plastic, fold-outable picnic bench things. It's always been a bit wobbly whenever anyone sits down or gets up, but it's been invaluable and packs up small enough. Can't remember the brand but looks something like this: Blue Folding Table with Seats

Unfortunately, some of the plastic bits that keep the seats out broke last trip so I need to replace. However, was wondering if there was a better brand or design that is more robust and sturdy. Any recommendations?

Slubber - that is also the one we have - have you tried sitting and eating at the higher level?? - tis boob level trust me and the stools are too low....Grin

had full multi height/size/age of adult test at the weekend and not just due to my 40+ slide south....

fab for the kids and ok for me on the low level.... stools are also good for dh's fire barrier for the campfire - he too was a scout

where did you pack it? was a bit wary about piling everything on top..

jamais- we use our storage box for our relaxing table- lamp, wine box glass, snacks, cake etc

Hi
We have one of these and is great, means DS can reach table to eat, useful with table top as coffee/wine table and useful as a tray as well.

I also had one of the foldaway ones with stools last year and found it too flimsy so have bought some nice chairs and am getting this from Aldi tomorrow www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/special_buys3_19230.htm. Can't argue with that price :)

Oh no! No I have not tried it on the upper levels yet, but my boobs are quite high up so maybe I'm safe. I think we will be at the lowest level for some time yet.

we slung everything on top of it in the boot, didn't seem to mind.

Wow, that Aldi table looks a good buy!

You know, I think I'm now dazzled by choice. I'm going to have to risk going to an ACTUAL CAMP SHOP aren't I. Bad things always happen to my credit card when I go in those places. Last time we went in for a porch awning and came out with three bags of stuff... (all terribly useful, honest)

We've got this one, which we use with Ikea Jeff chairs (they pack nice and flat in the trailer). We also have one like that Aldi one, but ds1 needs to tuck his chair right under or he chucks his dinner all down himself, and he can't do that with those legs.

I've got a little three-legged canvas stool. If you put a dinner plate on the top it makes quite a good side table for a wineglass cup of tea. Don't see why it wouldn't work the same for the other kinds of stool as well.
