trangier Vs gas stove thing

DH has a whispalite (sp?) for walking/camping and we need another stove.

so do we get a trangier, which DH would apparently find more useful or a gas stove type thing?

I would go for a suitcase stove and a set of camping pans. If there's 3+ of you, then go for a family sized set.

I love my trangia but, given the walking stove, I think that would give you more versatility.

I have a trangia, it's great and on windy days is the only thing that stays lit, but I'm actually terrified of it . Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, but I can never tell if it's gone out or not, even when using the close off thing, and after a 'there go my eyebrows' incident last year I only take it along now to use as a set of pans (the pans are cool) and as a back up. Plus it takes forever to boil water... I'd do as Soups suggests.
