camping north of london?

what nice camping site, not far from North London (1 to 2hrs).
We have the tent and some sleeping bags (and two small DCs) and we want to go next week-end, what do you reckon is best for us?

We liked this campsite near Ivinghoe, not far from Whipsnade.

Smallish field, nice wash block, swings and trampoline, lets you have campfires (although must be in pits) and I think it was around 1 hour from London.
