a possibly thick q about campsite pricing

we're hoping at going camping to switzerland this summer and just looking at some sites - all the ones I've seen have a price per adult and per tent - so it's 15sf for the tent and then 8sf per adult plus 3.20sf tax per night - is that right? I've never seen pricing like that before so am confused, you seem to be paying twice.

When we go to France is priced like that too.

This is very common. the price for the tent covers the pitch. the cost per person covers the facilities

thanks both :) don't know why I'd not seen it like this before, we've camped in France and Italy and not come across it.
