Would you recommend an Outwell tent?

I've just seen their Indian Lake teepee and I think I love it. I've never had/been in an Outwell before, are they good?

We've got an Oregon 5 (I think) and it's great. We use it 2 or 3 times a year for weekends camping though, not long holidays or tours

I have a sun valley and I'm selling it because although it is a nice tent, it was almost impossible to put up...by myself, anyway.

They are very good quality though.

we have an outwell, got it second hand from ebay. its the hartford xl. it's huge! no leaks and it withstands wind pretty well.

About to go camping for the sixth year in our Outwell tent this year - sleeps 6, takes about an hour to put up, but that may be because it's a relative old style by now. The quality is very good, which is a shame, because I have no good reason to need to buy a new one and the new styles look so nice!

Oh great thanks! In that case I may see if I can find one in the flesh to look at.

We have a Montana 6 and love it. Perhaps that's because of the carpet. Prob takes longer to put up than some of the smaller niftier ones, but well worth it. No leaks, has withstood gales and floods. We love it love it love it

We have the indiana 8, had it about 5 years now and it has withstood gales and thunderstorms without any leaks or bending of poles. Its very big and does take an hour to pitch but is lovely once its up.

On our 3rd year with our Florida 6 and love it for long camps. The only other similar quality that I've found is the kampa ultimate range.

We've had our Hartford XXL for 3 years now (2nd hand, was about 3 years old when we got it) been a fab tent, there are a couple of tears now but on the inside and doesn;t affect the tent. Very easy to put up but very time consuming. Never leaked, has stood up to very high winds when many other tents didn;t.

Only getting rid of it now cos I wanted a different kind of tent (canvas).

We have an Outwell Oakland XL and it's fab!
