Campsite in the UK needed ideally within 4 hours drive of london and by a beach. Any recommendations please.

We have a tent and are open to going anywhere as long as its on top of the beach and has showers.

We went to a lovely campsite in Cornwall if that's not too far, called Gwithian Farm in Hayle, just near St. Ives. It was only a short walk over sand dunes to the beach and had great showers. It gets great reviews all the internet and is well worth a visit.

Cornwall is my dh favourite, its a bit further than I would choose to go but I have a funny feeling we may end up back there again. I will certainly check out this suggestion. Thanks

some nice sites in norfolk. around sandringham, wells, cromer way. we're going here soon.

The Gower? Some fab sites there.

Waxham sands at Norfolk. Gorgeous beach with a colony of seals and you're allowed to have campfires!
