Recommendations for mobile home holiday in Europe by train or coach

Can any of you lovely people recommend a camping holiday in Europe that's possible without a car? Not particularly fussy about location, but ideally we'd like a mobile home that's relatively close to train/coach station and local amenities. A swimming pool on site and/or close to beach/lake/river would be great.

Many thanks!!

Hi Ruffello

Did you find a holiday like this? I am looking for something similar!

My parents took us Eurocamping every year by train. We went to Interlaken (switzerland), the black forest in Germany (can't quite remember which site - Bad Liebenzell?) And Italy, Lido di Jeselo (near venice) and Fiesole near Florence. Also went to a Paris site - total mind blank at the name!

Should be easier now then when we went, pre eurostar and you had to carry all your own bedding, you can hire it now. Good luck!

We use a company called Harry Shaws.
Local pick up and dropped directly to the campsite. You can book a tent, ready set up, caravans or 2 different types of lodges.
We always go to a particular campsite on the Costa Brava but they go all over Europe.
They also hold rooms in hotels.
