Want to go for a long weekend in August with DH and two DCs (6 and 4). Basically we want something with good facilities (nice showers/loos, wifi and maybe a pool), near to some good attractions and where we can get a biggish pitch (we have the Vango Tigris 800).

Any ideas? Thanks :)

We went here at Easter.
Nice site, some good sized pitches, pool free for site users, bar on site Wink and heated loos.
It was just outside Swanage, close to the beach and Corfe castle.

Thanks that looks lovely but very expensive! DH is going camping for the first time and had to be persuaded. Since we could get a premier inn room for that amount of money he will not stop whinging Grin

Stayed here and was very impressed. Good big pitches, excellent shower block etc.

We went in "Winter" so it was only £18 a night.
Good luck

Stayed here a few years ago. Basic, but in a lovely area.

The place holds lots of happy, sentimental childhood memories for me so maybe I'm biased.Smile
