Hi-di-hi campers.

I need to take my kids up to see extended family Up North this summer, and will probably camp at a midway point between two clans....one lot is in Leeds, the other is in Cheshire, .

Im thinking that somewhere in the peak district would be an easy commute to both, and allow us some time without duty visits too....can anyone recommend a nice site for families close to local attractions ?

Greenhills
www.greenhillsholidaypark.co.uk/
on the edge of Bakewell looks perfect and gets good reviews on UK campsite - haven't been there yet but on our list for this summer...

Greenhills is lovely.

Laneside in Hope is beside a busy road but there is a lovely bubbly river with rope swings over and a big field for ball games, if you can get a site away from the road noise, its worth it to see the kids having such a good time!
