We don't usually camp at Easter but I'm so glad we did this year!

The weather this last week has been amazing! We are at White Lodge on Anglesey- sorry can't link as I'm on my phone- facilities fairly basic but we've been cycling in the woods at Newborough, the dd's have 'swum' in the sea, lots of digging on the beach , BBQs and generally sitting in the sunshine drinking wine and reading the Kindle! Yes the nights are chilly but nothing a good sleeping bag and a hot water bottle can't solve. Currently typing this sitting in blazing sunshine watching the new born lambs in the next field gambolling- life is good my friends :)

We are just back from Gloucester - where it was hotter than Nice, apparently!
Campervan/folding camper combo worked a treat - DSes safe and happy in the camper and DH and I finally get to sleep together on holiday for the first time for two years!

Glad you're enjoying it. I'm desperate to get away this weekend but nights are still chilly and the DCs are only just recovering from a rather nasty virus so I don't want to start anything off again :( Very jealous of you, it sounds fab.

Same here! We have just got back from 3 nights camping in Beddgelert and it was fantastic. We had a bit of drizzle on Saturday morning, but other than that it has been glorious sunshine all weekend. It was seriously cold on Saturday night - about 5 degrees - but we were well kitted out (PJs, socks, fleeces, sleeping bag plus another unzipped sleeping bag over the top as a duvet) so survivied the night!

Wish we were going again next weekend but DH has to work :( But looking forward to Forest of Dean at the end of May!
