... Except it only took me 5 mins to put up. I heart it and its porch that I am currently sitting in.
Camping lite weekends by the sea, here we come!

(anyone want to start a sweepstake on how long it will take me to wrestle it down?!)

Ooh, which one have you got?

brambleschooks · 24/03/2011 15:06

It is the Quechua 2 seconds 4xl!

I have been studying the you tube deconstruction video.

I got one last week - it's fab.

Have booked my first trip away with dc's but not dh for may. Am taking the easy option and going to a haven site with indoor pool as at least there is plenty to do. Only £14 per night Inc funworks passes.

PotatoesOfTheCarribean · 24/03/2011 20:59

OH!! I want a Quechua! Perhaps one of these Grin

PotatoesOfTheCarribean · 24/03/2011 21:00

No, one of these

Mmm... Grin

brambleschooks · 24/03/2011 22:12

I know, right?

brambleschooks · 25/03/2011 07:02

And it only took 5 mins to get down. Let it not be said that I can't deal with a Pop up

You have this beauty? I am so very jealous Envy

KnottyLocks · 25/03/2011 07:17

And I want one
of these too to link to it.

jamaisjedors · 25/03/2011 10:26

Is it really the New Family 4.2XL?

I spent all day hours yesterday looking at tents and was set on that one, but because they are new there's not much info about them.

I went to Decathlon and there were none up.

And DH is now saying that putting the tent up is "part of the fun" of camping (this is our first family tent - we have a 3-man one which sleeps all of us in the garden).

Do tell all if you have it brambles;

That's the one! I just want one that's hassle free that we can bung up fast and go off to the beach / hills for 1-2 night breaks in fairish weather. Any longer breaks we'll take the 6 man tent that we can walk round in. I'd rather not waste time pitching when we could be in the sea!

mmmm that family xl is very nice - however, our 6--man is similar (but bigger!) and himself would have moaned at another £100!

Bramble, that's a bargain. Unfortunately, we couldn't spread my two DSs far enough apart in that one.

brambleschooks · 25/03/2011 18:05

I am ponding the wisdom of dh and teen ds in the same space overnight - they have the tendency to wrestle. However, there is also our 2man pop up which I could banish them to!

jamaisjedors · 25/03/2011 19:54

I want the DS and us at opposite ends, which is why I'm tempted by that family XL one (and the quick pitching of course).

My worry is that the bedrooms are small-ish and also that I will have to lie sideways in the bedroom so clamber over someone to get out.

Nikkid21 · 25/03/2011 20:48

The amazon link is the one that I got. Only £99 in decathlon and come with grounsheet included. Had another practice today and it's dead easy.

Bedroom is surprisingly wide - can get 4 sim in with no probs
