Anyone been to Brakes Coppice Park near Battle?

Hi - trying to be fantastically organised and book ahead to camp somewhere in August. There's an MN review of this site, but it's a bit sparse so I wondered if anyone else knows the site? We have 2 boys under 5 and love camping... TIA

Hi - went ti brakes coppice few years ago and my brother went last year. the site is really nice and quiet - all camping is done round the perimeters if the site so children can play in the middle - which I suppose you could love or hate? there are fishing lakes there, but these are out of the way - so not a problem for little ones. The big down side for us was that the toilets were IMO grim! think spiders webs, drafty and if I remember right, there was only a couple of loos and showers. No on site shop either. but that was a while back so things may have been improved?

Thanks for info - phoned site yesterday and they sound very friendly and have had lots of work done on showers and loos. Will ponder a bit more.
