Are the 5* caravan sites worth the extra cost?

We are definately not laid back couple and the boys are full of life. I dont want night entertainment but do like the toilets/showers/good play areas etc. Some of these luxury sites are over £30pn and havent yet tried these sites. Would these suit us and have you been on any?

Just wondering if there may be more ideas now we're closer to camping season, I am looking for a similar answer.

I have tried the more expensive sites (though not many) and have to say I was happy I'd paid extra. It generally meant the toilets were clean, the showers were hot and there were plenty of them, and that the facilities were good.
We did go to a cheap and cheerful site for a couple of nights and it was great but the toilets/showers were pretty revolting (and I'm not easily shocked).
