Will I absolutely hate camping at Camp Bestival?

Hi, could someone tell me what it's really like to camp here as I had a really bad experience at the IoW Festival (mainly people stumbling over our tent with us in it) once and do not want to repeat it with a 4 year old. Is camping plus or boutique any better? Thanks for any info as I really want to go!

I haven't been to Camp Bestival, but I'm a regular festival goer and I believe it's quite a family friendly one, as festivals go. Best advice is to make sure you are in the family camping area, and pitch your tent away from walkways, toilets and sinks/standpipes, that way you will avoid the need for people walking past your tent too much. If you can get near a fence it might help, just not too near because men often pee against fences, filthy pigs!

Have never been to Camp Bestival but have never heard anything but good reports on in from Mumsnetters.
