I've already questioned about Henry's but trying to cover all bases.
Dh and I want to go to west cornwall. I originally wanted St Ives ish but cant really find anywhere that fits our criteria.
Last year we wet to Lyme regis hook farm. There was a pub 5 mins away and we could walk into lyme regis (max mile and a half to get there.)
Would like similar this time with good buses too as dh gets cranky with driving.
Its just me and dh, we would like a campsite that maybe ahs fires, isn't huge, no clubhouse, just a little shop.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

There's a couple of family friendly campsites near Mawgan Porth and the area is very walkable - into the countryside, to the (stunning) beach etc. there's even buses to and from Newquay and Padstow.

It's the same village as the Bedruthan Steps Hotel, if you know it.

Treloan is lovely and lets you have campfires. Pub about 3 minutes walk up the hill, no shop really but good village shop deli in Portscatho. There are buses to Truro I think, may not be your ideal area but I really recommend this site. (V windy in bad weather though...)
