It was so much easier when Ds was under one!

How do you survive camping with a 2.5yo (who bolts) and a 6mth old? Actually I'm not that concerned by the baby, it's the toddler I need advice on mainly!!

:)

Our DDs were very similar ages last year. Camping was great but was very hard work!

First of all, make sure you zip up the tent door. Our daughter escaped when she woke up and we found her wondering round the campsite!!

Our main problem was getting DD1 to sleep in evening but by the third night she was so knackered she fell asleep at about 6. My advice would be to just relax and not put them to bed until they're knackered.

As you say, baby is actually pretty easy!

Little torch is a good idea :)

Do you find you need to bed up the whole pod to stop toddler going onto the floor at night? Ds is very "active" when going to sleep and I do worry about him getting cold.

I had been wondering about that. I like the little readybeds, but I can't see him staying in one.
