Campsites in Brittany for young children

Hi,
I've just booked v cheap flights to La Rochelle Brittany for 10 days in July. I've looked at the sites Venue, Keycamp, and others and there just seem to be so many lovely sites that I don't know which to choose. Can anyone recommend any in particular? I have 3 sons who will be nearly 2, 3 and 8 and I will travel on my own with them. I'd like a beach and pool access and a kids club for my 8yr old. I am not a confident driver so hoped to travel by bus/train/taxi from airport to the site. I really want a chilled out time so would like to spend most of it on the site but would ideally like to be within walking distance of a town.
Suggestions welcome

La Rochelle isn't in Brittany Maybee. Cheap flights to Brittany go in to Nantes, Dinard and I think Brest.

So I've just discovered Chick! Well Vendee then would probably be the nearest region or maybe v South Brittany! I will amend my post.

you HAVE TO go to Ile De Re. just over the toll bridge won't cost much in a taxi...£20-30? i am guessing there's a great site called SUNELIA INTERLUDE. I went twice and recommend it. great island for cycling if you are feeling fit with the 2 and 3 year old sharing a chariot. the 8 year old will love it. this campsite is on the beach, and offers bungalows/chalets too, plus cafe

Carnac in Southern Brittany. Camping des Menhirs is within walking distance of the town. It is a small site but fine for your DCs age.

Carnac is a lovely traditional seaside town with lovely creperies, cafes etc.

Second GnomeDePlume. Camping des Menhirs is lovely with a lovely "art house " with smiley french students armed with crayons and paint!
Have a lovely holiday where ever you end up Smile

Sarzeau www.camping-sarzeau.com/ is beautiful and fab for young libs. Near a lovely town, Vannes which is fabulous, la trinite which is quite posh and loads more none of it wanky. But we also went to Ile d'oleron which was an amazing fortnight. Its a beautiful part of France and in July, should be lovely x
