Can anyone recommend a site with good train access into central London?

I've found a campsite in London where I can get a bus/tube into the centre. I was just wondering if there are any more rural sites where there would still be quick access into the centre. Ideally I need to be able to walk to the train station from the campsite. Thanks

We went here last year for a weekend as it was close to home and it's a really nice place - you can have a real campfire which is an enormous plus.

It's about 2 miles away from Debden station on the Central line, which is about 35 mins train journey to Central London. You'd have to walk for about 10 mins to the nearest shops and get a bus there to the tube or else walk for about half an hour or so to the tube itself.

Although it's v. close to London, it's right in the middle of Epping Forest and you would think you were in the middle of nowhere. We're heading back there next spring!

There is a campsite in Lee Valley. I can't remember exactly where. Sort of North north east. May be worth a look?

There's one at Abbey Wood (southeast, about 20 min to London Bridge). AW is a bit boring though.
Also one in Crystal Palace Park unless they close it down, which has all of the park around and CP is a lovely town. Excellent train service to Victoria/London Bridge too.
