Does anyone really camp at this time of year?

I keep thinking we could maybe fit in one more trip. Am I mad?

We went camping at New Year in the Lakes! yes there was snow on the ground, but we had an electric hook up, and took an oil filled radiator with fan heater and a portable gas fire. I was sat in my T-Shirt in the tent as it was sooooo cosy! Evenings spent in the Pub, fantastic walks by day, peace and tranquility everywhere! We normally only avoid autumn as it's usually wet, but on a crisp Jan/Feb morning with the blue sky above there's nothing like it!

I'm now 8 months pregnant, so little chance till next season...

Andie which site did you go to? We are thinking of New Year in the Lakes - in a caravan though
