Looking for thermals for young DC for camping but cant find any small enough!

We are going camping in a couple of weeks. Did a trial run last week with DCs (2 yo and 4yo) and all ok but we were all a bit cold!

Have found thermal top and bottoms for me and DH and a fleece top layer to sleep in but thermals for kids in blacks, millets etc all only start at age 3-4 years.
DS2 is 2.5 but small and 2-3 yrs would still be biggish on him.
Any ideas on where I can get some for them??
Was planning on putting them in thermals then all in one fleece pjs, then sleeping bags and take extra blankets too - does this sound ok?

Thanks!

M&S usually do thermals from tiny sizes.

I got thermals from here they are good value and really warm.
We just got back from camping it was freezing, we had thermals , pajamas, thermal socks, sleeping bags and duvets!!

Good luck

got the milletts ones for ds2 who was a small 4yo at the time - they were fine rolled up

actually found tiny ones for dd, from 1yo in asda Hmm don't know if it's a regular thing. also well worth putting them in navy tights, boys or girls Wink

We got the ds's thermals from M&S which they wore at the weekend, worked a treat.

Not sure what size they go down to though, maybe worth a look.

decathlon has thermals from 4 years, but small so should be fine for a large 2year old (were too small for 3year ds last winter).

Glad you got M&S - we tried those out a couple of weeks ago and they worked a treat (dd is 3) - she wore thermal top and bottoms under her regular pjs, with socks and a hat on the coldest night! She was warm a toast and slept brilliantly.

Months late in replying to this post, but just in case anyone is searching for the same subject.

Best we found were Patagonia Infant thermals - Capeline 3. We bought ours in the USA (from REI's website) but I presume you can get them here too. I particularly loved the fact that in all sizes from 0-3 months, up to 3T (ie 3 Toddler) they came with leggings and a bodysuit top (poppers at crotch, between legs) so no bare exposed flesh anywhere to get cold.

We lived for 3 winters in Alaska and the kids basically lived in these thermals. Fab.
