I really really fancy a Juno tepee and I don't know why.

I just really like them! The DDs could play in it, we could store all our gear in it when we go camping, they're funky, but..

We don't really need one.

Have you bought any camping equipment just because you fancied it? (without a rational reason behind the purchase I mean).

Yes. I We bought a bell tent, even though we had a brand new, only used once, Vango Orchy that we both liked. I really, really fancied a bell. Now we both love it and prefer it to the Vango, and have used it relatively often.

I also got really excited about a storm kettle, whilst obviously not really needing it (had gas stove and camping kettle). Dh gave it to me for my birthday, and it's fab and often used.

I don't know much about your tepee, but if your question is whether you should buy something your really, really fancy even if you don't need it (assuming you have spare cash, obviously) - hell yes.

I have the Peace 800 and a little bubbles Juno - both just for fun - I can spend my pocket money on what I want, and they pack small. In process of fixing mesh to doors. I also have proper tents

Get it! But you may have to pay extra to pitch it.
