We're doing a tour of Devon and Cornwall for a week in about a weeks time. Sooo excited
I've found a couple of campsites I like, Stoke Barton near Clovelly and South Penquite near Bodmin but I'm stuck for something a bit further south.
I'm thinking we want to be somewhere vaguely around Falmouth, but I don't particularly mind if it's inland, or on the north coast instead, I just want to be that far down. We're going across to the Isles of Scilly for a week after so the eventual destination is Penzance and we'll be in Hayle the night before that.
As for facilities we like things pretty basic, clean shower & toilets blocks are a must. Entertainments are a huge turn off. Shops and laundry facilites a bonus, playgrounds are okay but DD is 3 so she's just as happy running up and down a field, and I'd rather not spend my whole holiday pushing a swing (you get frowned on for pushing a swing whilst drinking cider.)
So, any recommendations. I've scoured the Mumsnet lists, & UKcampsite but I'm not very well and my brain is beginning to melt with the choices.
I have seen one I like the look of the one in St Ives, but I didn't really want to be that far south.
