Outwell tent leaking after less than 4 years

Ought it to have lasted longer? Do they offer any sort of guarantee? I could not see anything on their website. I will contact them I think.

I'm just trying to garner how many years I should expect out of a tent that is used appx. 10 days per year. we bought it in late 2006 and last time we camped, in May 2010, the morning dew was dripping through the seams.

bloody hell, don't tell me that, we've ordered an Outwell this very morning Shock

I think you should expect better than this from a quality brand, though.

Don't tents need to be reproofed periodically?

dreamingofsun · 19/08/2010 10:14

are you sure it was the morning dew and not condensation?

Yes, on close inspection of the seam from where it was dripping, the seam is peeling away.
