"Trespass" Tents?

Hi.

First camping trip on Monday, just me and dd (6) and we still havent got a tent. Dont want to pay loads as we may not like it and don't realy have the spare cash - so trying to do it on the cheap. However, I realise it may well rain all week so also want a tent that is going to keep us dry.

In TK MAx the have some "Trespass" tents, all half price. There's the Cruach, Taachan and the Ghabhar. Anone have any experience of any of these.

OR M other option is a Vango Beta 250 - £40 in Millets. Is that a decent one?

Thanks in advance,

Starbuck

The trespass tents do not have as high waterproof rating [hydrostatic head] as the vango, on the whole for camping in the UK. I would go for better waterproofing, Vango tents are usually pretty good and come with a guarantee if things go wrong.
Hope that is some help.
