I don't think we need to take it and think even if we have to bring our own gas it would be better to get it there as I am not sure about driving across to France with my own gas bottle. I don't know why.

DH says why pay for a new gas bottle when we have our own.

no. you do not need to take gas. it will be provided, and iuf you run out the couriers bring you new ones free.
