OK, got rid of the ubiquitous picnic table-n-stools fold out combo....

..which everybody uses camping these days in favour of a fold up table and 2 tripod stools for the DCs (we'll use the folding directors chairs we always take anyway to sit at table!).

Found the all-in-one useful initially but the more camping we did, the more we realised the table wasn't versatile enough with 4 flapping seat appendages! The seats were fairly small, a bit wobbly and perhaps a bit unsafe.

I will report back post camping!

I am seeing your point!!

Our table has served us well enough but I never felt the seats were that sturdy and always feared for folks' fingers if it collapsed.! And it was a real pain to carry in under cover at night to 'sit around' as us adults kept falling over the chairs on our way over to the beer supply Grin

We just eat off our knees when we're camping!

oh yes we too had the toaster - pile of shoyte your right! We have an aluminium foldy table like slated thing and 2 director chairs, kids sit on picnic rug balancing brekky bowls.

We were given the foldy table/stool combo thingy for free but DH being very 'hoof and safety' conscious said it was 'an accident waiting to happen' (hes a bit over dramatic at times) so it got freecycled (for some other poor mug to chop their fingers off with Blush) and we now have a fold up table and seperate chairs from tesco. Comfier and much easier to move about. Grin

didnt like the #all in one combo'
We have a hi gear table and 4 folding chairs
WE didnt really eat at the table as I didnt want to cook much.

We got the picnic table thingy free with our first tent but we've replaced it now as it seemed too flimsy and if we were on a slope I was always worried about it tipping up.

However I have to say I'm quite fond of our toaster gadget, we use it a lot as ds likes toasted muffins.
