Callow Top campsite, Derbyshire (near Ashbourne)

I've noticed a few mumsnetters have been here. We're going on Sunday for a week and the forecast includes a fair bit of rain. Due to our lack of planning, all our appropriate clothing except raincoats is currently in storage and not at all accessible - but I remember the boys all needed new wellies in any case.

Would we be able to buy wellies (and possibly waterproof trousers) for everyone in the campsite shop, or nearby in Ashbourne or Derby?

I have also put a days out request in the appropriate topic, but anyone with more info is welcome to post here.

there is a shop in ashbourne town centre that sells are wellies / waterproofs it's called acron it's acrossed the road from bennetts down the alley facing it -however it's not a cheap shop at all.

you'd be better going into derby or burton both about a 30 mins drive from there.

what sort of days out are you intersted in we're locals so can recomend pretty much most things.
