Wow, Camping heaven at last!!!!

Just had to tell you what an amazing two nights we had as a family (me, DH, DD 3 and DS almost 2) in a camping pod at the Quiet Site near Ullswater in the Lakes. Totally recommend for peace and quiet, luxury for all, warm and cosy camping experience for someone who isn't fond of soggy canvas and LO's waking too early....anyone else used these?

Good grown up campsite with shop, field and BAR.

Yes we did a few weeks back at cotswold view in cotswolds . I thought it was really good until i got the trots thenhad to lay awake all night with my nose to the door, there were four of us also in a 4 berth so once double airbed was in and 2 singles there was no other room and it was a hot night so i did feel a bit claustrophobic if i am honest. They do a bigger one though and i know if we went in that id have been fine. It was eceleent there was a picnic table to each pod also so you oliterally needed bed andbags and stove and that was it. How big was your pod?

Our's was the bigger pod so plenty of room...haven't stayed in the smaller one but may stick to the bigger one, thanks for the advice. Hope you feeling better now NZLCF??

Oh I stayed on the Quiet Site in 1992 OMG just realised how old I've gotten, not in a pod though just in my much loved Khyam igloo.

It is my all time favourite camping experience, mainly due to drinking mead in the hayloft barn whilst reading the mountain rescue book detailing all the "rescues" for the past year - not sure if it would be so hilarious sober

Would love to go back now I have children, hmmm maybe one for next year
