my ds (aged 2) has just been confirmed with strep tonsillitis. Hoping he will be well by Saturday (he's OK now if dosed

We haven't got an electric hook up - talk to me about keeping the antibiotic medicine cool (as you would normally keep in fridge)....

You helped me crack the portable DVD conundrum - dear mumsnetters, can you help me with this one please?

bring freezer packs? most places will let you freeze them for a deposit (you swap yours for another that is frozen and get yours back when you leave)

Failing that you can buy bags of ice cubes to put in your cool box from the nearest supermarket. If you keep your cold box outdoors in the shade (under table?) with a wet towel over it they will last a day or two depending on the weather

I work on a campsite.
We have a communal fridge and freezer for freezer blocks. I am sure most will have similar facilities.

ask the campsite owners - i'm sure most would be sympathetic, even if there isn't a communal one - ds was prescribe antibiotics on holiday in france and they let us use theirs.
