Help - putting up our new Outwell Florida 6 did not go entirely to plan

Lovely new Florida 6 arrived on Friday morning and so we took it camping for the weekend. Love, love, love the tent but putting it up was so hard! Tried to follow the instructions from Outwell, but found it too heavy to pick up all the poles and then spread out as they suggest. After 3 attempts and a lot of bickering another couple came to help (thank you if you are a Mumsnetter!!) and it was then quite easy.

So, I am sure there is an easier way, any outwell owners with top tips?! Going to Frnace in 10 days and would rather be able to do it with a little more competence!

It looks similar to an Outwell Montana 6, sooo, search YouTube for the Yeomans camping chap demonstrating how to pitch the Montana 6. That's the method I use.

In a nutshell, you peg the 4 corners and then erect the rear-most poles, pull it up and peg the guys, then proceed to do the other sets of poles one by one.

I agree -- we have a Montana 6 and do it the YouTube way rather than the Outwell way.
